Visakhapatnam Port Trust handled the highest volume of cargo in a single day on 26-12-2021, wherein 3,70,029 MT of cargo was handled combinedly at Inner harbour and Outer harbour including SPM, through 21 vessels that had worked in port. This is the highest tonnage handled in VPT since its inception duly surpassing the previous best of 3,47,722MT handled through 19 vessels on 02-12-2021.
విశాఖ పోర్ట్ మరో అరుదైన రికార్డును సాధించింది. ఒకే రోజు పోర్టులో అత్యధిక సరుకును హ్యాండిల్ చేసిన ఘనత. ఈ నెల 26వ తేదీన రికార్డు స్ధాయిలో కార్గోను హ్యాండ్లింగ్. ఇన్నర్, అవుటర్ హార్బర్, ఎస్ పి ఎం ల నుంచి 3,70,029 మెట్రిక్ టన్నుల సరుకును హ్యాండ్లింగ్ చేసిన రికార్డు సృష్టి. గతంలో ఒక్కరోజులో 3,47,722 మెట్రిక్ టన్నులు సరుకును హ్యాండిల్ చేసిన రికార్డును తిరగ రాసిన విశాఖ పోర్టు. సిబ్బందిని అభినందించిన ఛైర్మన్.
