- Consultancy awarded to NTCPWC to prepare Detailed Project Report (DPR)

- Letter is addressed to NTCPWC on 20.11.2025 to furnish the DPR for Phase-I dredging.

Rehabilitation of Jetty No’s- 1, 2, 3, 4, Wet Basin & DC Jetty in the Entrance Channel of Visakhapatnam Port.

- Work order issued on 11.03.2024 to IIT-madras to prepare TEFR.

5.

Strengthening of WQ-1, WQ-2, WQ-3 berths for an additional dredge depth from  (-)14.00m to  (-)15.50m

- Consultancy awarded to IIT Madras on 09.10.2025 to conduct NDT tests.

- IIT Madras furnished NDT Report on 24.11.2025 the same was forwarded to EE(South) on 25.11.2025 for further necessary action.

Construction of B-Ramp to facilitate movement of cargo from Eastern & Western Quays

- Letter has been addressed on 02.04.2025 to NHAI authorities regarding the VPA board’s approval for the proposal of re-construction of B-ramp.

- Geo-Technical investigation is under progress.

Construction of new multistoried building in port area to accommodate all departments.

- Work awarded to NBCC on deposit basis.

- NBCC furnished estimate at a cost of Rs.97.74Cr.

- Dismantling of Old DCI building is in progress which is taken up by VPA.

- Upon dismantling of the Old DCI building, NBCC will call tenders.

- Expected date for calling tenders is 25.01.2026.

8.

Construction of additional ramp to facilitate movement of trucks from Ambedkar Centenary Flyover to L-15/17 corridor

- Work awarded to NHAI on deposit basis after taking approval from the Competent Authority.
9.Construction of Residential apartments for Visakhapatnam Port Authority at Harbour Park.

- Work awarded to CPWD.

- CPWD submitted cost estimate for an amount of Rs.49.90Cr.

- CPWD is under the process of calling tenders.

- Expected date for calling tenders is 25.01.2026
