Road Project Envisaged Under Bharatmala:

• Development of 4 lane road from east breakwater to convent junction (NHAI is processing the praposal)
• Improving / upgradation of 4 lane to 6 lane road for the port connectivity from east brak water to sheelanagar junction.(NHA is processing the proposal)
• Visakhapatnam port board from sheelanager to anakapalli - sabbavaram / Pendurthi - anandhapuram road(NHAI is processing the proposal)
• Improvement works for Visakhapatnam Port Road (Rehabilitation of Ambedkar and Nehru Centenary flyover).
• Construction of flyover / underpass at Vizag Airport junction to ensure free flow of container trailers to /from MMLP set up at NH-16.
