Visakhapatnam Port Authority created a New Record on 17-06-2023, by handling highest ever single day throughout since inception of the Port. Record throughput of 4,01,875 Metric Tons was handled on 17-06-2023 by handling 23 vessels. by surpassing the earlier record on 07-05-2023 with 3,78,760 mts. Dr. M. Angamuthu, IAS, Chairperson appreciated the Traffic Manager & team in achieving the new record. He also advised the port employees work as team to scale new records.
