Indian Ports Association (IPA), originally styled as “The Ports Consultative Organization”, was constituted in 1966 and registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860. Membership of the Association is opened to the Major Port Trusts in India. The Management of the Association is vested in the Governing Body, members of which are the Chairman (Ex-officio) of the Major Port Trusts. IPA is conceived with the prime objective of developing and increasing efficiency and productivity in ports and their working environment.
